MiG 29 CRASH
During a regular flight task, a SAF MiG 29 crashed today, at 09:10, in the vicinity of Batajnica airfield.
The pilot managed to eject himself. Unfortunately, he succumbed to massive injuries. One solider was also killed while another one sustained light injuries.
Following the news of the crash, all necessary measures have been taken to secure the crash site and to carry out all investigation by the authorities.
The committee tasked to look into the causes and circumstances surrounding the crash started working immediately, and the public will be informed in timely manner.
