Telegram of Condolence for the Secretary of Defence of the United States of America





Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolence to Secretary of Defence of the United States of America Mark Esper, in which he extended his condolences after tragic events in El Paso in Texas and Deyton in Ohio in which several dozens of US citizens had died and been injured.

The telegram reads as follows:

"It is with horror and disbelief that I received the news about the mass shooting in a shopping mall in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio in which several dozens of American citizens were killed or wounded. The Serbian people condemns this heinous crime and brutal assault against US citizens.

In this difficult moment, my thoughts and the thoughts of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces remain with your people.

Please convey sympathies and sincere condolences, on my behalf and on behalf of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, to the families of the perished and our wishes for speedy recovery to the injured".
