Minister visited TOC



Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac, accompanied by SAF GS Chief LTG Miloje Miletic visited the Technical Testing Center-a unique mixed research institution in the Serbian Armed Forces.

The Head of the Development Department, SAF GS, Major General Bozidar Forca and the director of the Tseting Center Colonel Goran Stojanovic informed the Minister of the organization activities, the method of work and the results achieved so far.

Minister also toured the labs for electronics, metrology and mototechnic equipment and the equipment deployed by the riverine units in the three sectors of this institution.

This institution in today’s form was established three years ago by merging testing centers of SAF, by integrating Air Force Testing Center and Navy Testing Center into the Testing Center. It is today a modern research institution in the filed of research and quality control of military weapons, as well as in the field of metrological securing of the defense system. This institution has once again merited its repute in MoD and defense industry, as well as in the civil industry, research and scientific institutions and organizations in the country.

Almost all technical equipment operationally deployed by SAF have undergone testing and verification procedures in TOC. The results of tests, verification of secondary etalons have been transformed into 7000 pages of elaborates and other forms of research papers, while in the testing field of Nikinci some 200 test are conducted and several thousand protocols are issued.

TOC’s competence has been confirmed by the awarded certificates on accreditation obtained with the Accreditation Body of Serbia and the competences granted by the authorized institutions in Serbia.

In the first half of this year Lasta-95 plane underwent tests, with the M03 camouflage uniform ensemble being tested. Furthermore, bofors 40 mm L/70 anti aircraft gun was tested along with the optoelectronic equipment.
