Ministers of Defense of Serbia and Cyprus Draga Sutanovac and Kostas Papakostas met on 16 June in the House of Guards in Topcider where they discussed the cooperation in the field of defense and the relations between Serbia and EU.
The graduation ceremony for 52nd class of the GS College, National Defense School, was held on 26 June in the National Assembly Dome. 25 officers of SAF and MoD finished the College, two from BH armed forces and one from the Montenegrin army.
The members of SAF have built a good image with the Austrian experts as the Chief of the Austrain armed forces stressed Edmund Entacher during his meeting with SAF GS Chief LTG Miloje Miletic.

In an interview to ODBRANA, Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas just before the start of the 25th Summer University Olympics, the most significant sports event in the world this year, stresses that Belgrade has a long-standing repute for being a god organizer of great sports events and that University Olympics will be organized at the highest level, as it deserves.

An imminent world epidemic of swine flu has forced the World Health Organization, starting from 27 April, to declare the fourth, then fifth and finally the sixth stage of epidemic. Multinational Computer exercise BALKAN WATCH was carried out in Bulgaria, with the main wish for the commanders of nee PfP partner countries to reach the necessary standards and to be enabled for the planning and realization of operations where the forces ranging from battalion level to joint operations establishments participate.
Training ship the “Jadran” started on cruise with a multinational crew where with the members of the Navy of Montenegro, also the members of Serbian, Italian, Romanian, Greek, Albanian, and Slovenian armies also sail. This is the realization of the idea of the Montenegrin ministry of defense to offer Jadran’s services to the neighboring countries as a sort of “classroom afloat” for young navy officers.

The Military Academy cadets paid a visit to Hilandar, while the students of the Military Grammar School visited Corfu and the Island of Vido.

Second sports championship of SAF ended where the team of SAF Army was the most successful. The championship lasted from 15 to 19 June in sports fields of the Sombor-based barracks Aerodrom, in Apatin and Fruska gora.
