Pledge ceremony for June conscripts

In all training centers across Serbia The June generation of conscripts pledged its allegiance to the country on Saturday, in the presence of parents, relatives, friends, members of local self-government and religious communities representatives. In the next month and a half the young conscripts will undergo the first stage of training, and then the majority of them will be assigned to specialist training centers based on the specializations.

The ceremony in 7th training center in Leskovac was attended by Deputy SAF GS Chief LTG Mladen Cirkovic and the Commander-in-Chief of the Training Command Major General Aleksandar Zivkovic.

In his congratulatory address, LTG Cirkovic said that they would be acquiring specific skills, and then would be sent to those units where they could apply put these skills to use. Congratulating this most important days in the life of every youth to their parents, relatives and friends, he thanked them all for attending the ceremony. He wished success to all of them.

, Brigadier General Rade Djuric, Head of the Reconnaissance-Intelligence Affairs Department in 2nd training center in Pancevo, in the third training center in Jakovo Major General Petar Cornakov, Head of the Department of Training and Doctrine attended the ceremony, Major General Ljubomir Samardzic, Head of the Logistics Department in 4th training center, Major General Bozidar Forca, Head of the Department of Planning and Development in 5th center in Zajecar, while Major General Radivoj Vukobradovic, Head of the Telecommunications/IT Department attended the ceremony in 6th center, whereas Brigadier General Miodrag Vukmirovic was present at the pledge ceremony in Army Training Center in Pozarevac.
