Meeting between Minister Vulin and Acting CSTO Secretary General




Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, met with Valery Semerikov, Acting CSTO Secretary General. At the meeting, they discussed the cooperation so far and the possibilities for its enhancement. 

Minister Vulin stressed that Serbia is a militarily neutral country and will not be a member of any military alliance, but that it has the capacity to develop and deepen cooperation with CSTO. Common assessment of acting CSTO secretary general and minister of defence is that the cooperation with the CSTO is much better today than in the previous period.
 
Acting CSTO Secretary General Semerikov pointed out that the CSTO respects the position of Serbia on military neutrality, and that the participation of the Serbian Armed Forces in the activities of the CSTO is very important for that organisation.
