Meeting between Minister Vulin and his Iranian counterpart Hatami




Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin met with Iranian Minister of Defence, General Amir Hatami, at a separate meeting within the framework of the 8th Moscow Conference on International Security.
The ministers agreed that cooperation should be developed in accordance with mutual interests and in order to build bilateral relations and pointed out that the opening of the Serbian Defence Attache's Office in Tehran contributed to their enhancement.
 
Minister Vulin thanked for the principled position of Iran regarding our legitimate efforts to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
 
The agreement on defence cooperation is in the final phase of negotiations, which will create the legal basis for the realisation of significant bilateral activities of the two armies.
