Reception of US DA for SAF members
Yesterday at the residency of US DA Colonel Eric Von Tersh, a reception was given for the members of MoD and SAF who are to go to US or have just returned from one-year studies at the military schools in the United States. - We believe that investing into education is a long-term investment beneficial to both sides, as Colonel Von Tersh stressed., adding that this was more a matter of building mutual trust, as we are hosting SAF members, while it is your job to send us the very pick of your officers. We hope your officers and NCOs will use this education to advance in their careers.
Colonel Von Tersch alos took this opportunity to single out Goran Radic, a Warrant Officer, as a fine example of our men who achieved excellent results during their studies in US.
During 2009, 61 professional members of MoD will have been sent to US studies, while the projection for 2101 envisions at least 50.
