Meeting of Minister Vulin and Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industries of Kazakhstan
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, met today at the “IDEX 2019” International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, with the Deputy Prime Minister and the new Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Zhumagaliyevtt.
Minister Vulin began by thanking the Republic of Kazakhstan on the principled position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
The Ministers discussed the possibility of enhancing military-industrial and military-economic cooperation. Minister Zhumagaliyevtt emphasized three aspects of cooperation - in the field of ammunition, technology transfer and research and development. Minister Vulin agreed with his Kazakh counterpart and emphasized the possibility of providing technical and technological support for the establishment of lines for production of infantry ammunition in the Republic of Kazakhstan, joint development and mastering of production, as well as joint production and transfer of technology.
Minister Vulin issued an invitation to his Kazakh counterpart to visit the Republic of Serbia, which would be an opportunity to sign an agreement on military-technical cooperation.
