Competition for admission to Military Educational Institutions
A competition for admission of students to the Military High School has been opened today and will last until 15March, and the competitions for the Military Vocational High School, the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy will be open from 15 February to 31March 2019.
The Military High School will enroll 90 boys and girls this year, and 65 candidates will be admitted in the Military Vocational High School. The Military Academy will enroll 183 cadets this year, and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy 25.
There is traditionally a great interest among young people to enroll in military schools. The main reasons are excellent education and excellent educationalconditions such as free accommodation and food in the boarding schools; the entire teaching materials and the use of modern capacities for extracurricular activities are also free of charge.
Upon completion of military schools, participants can look forward to a secure job with the possibility of continuous professional and career development. The honorable, challenging and responsible call of the officers and non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces is a permanent motive for which the interest in enrolling in military schools has never been degraded. Being a member of the Serbian Armed Forces and fulfilling the honorable duty of defending our country and people has been and remains the pride of every member of this armed force.
Those who wish to apply for military school enrollment need to submit an application with required documentation in the respective centers of the Ministry of Defense on the territory of the permanent place of residence, within the timeframe of the competitions, and to prepare themselves the best they can for the entrance examinations.
Competitions for enrollment in military schools are published in the magazine “ODBRANA” from 1February 2019 and on the website of the Ministry of Defense - www.mod.gov.rs, where all information about the conditions of the competition and the required documentation can be found.
