Joint Session of the Boards of the Minister of Defence and Chief of General Staff
Today, in the Guard Club in the “Topčider” barracks, a joint session was held of the Board of the minister of defence and expanded Board of the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces. The session was presided by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin.
During the session, the participants analysed the results of the work of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2018, particularly the achievements in building operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces and acquisitions and introduction of modern assets of arms and military equipment.It was concluded that the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces have been significantly raised in the course of 2018, and the best confirmation of that was successfully executed military exercise “Century of Victors 1918-2018”
The focus of the work and engagement in 2019, in line with resolutions of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, will be placed on maintaining and raising capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces to a higher level, on further equipping by modern arms and equipment and taking measures to improve working and living conditions and life standard of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
