Joint session of the collegia of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff




 
The joint session of the Collegium of the Minister of Defence and the extended Collegium of the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, led by Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, the newly-appointed Chief of General Staff, for the first time, was held today at the Morović military establishment. The session was chaired by Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin.
 
In addition to regular reporting on key activities and the state of the defence system, the focus of today's session was on briefing of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces about the preparations for the upcoming exercise, which will be conducted in four locations across Serbia, with a large number of participants and assets.
 
At today's joint session of the Collegium of the Minister of Defence and the extended Collegium of the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, future organisational changes in the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the security situation and security challenges in the country and the region, were discussed.
 
In particular, they analysed the combat readiness of the Serbian Armed Forces and the execution of the orders of the Supreme Commander Aleksandar Vučić on raising the level of training and provision of equipment of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and measures for raising the standards of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
