Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac talked today with the US Vice President Joseph Biden in the House of Guard. Minister Sutanovac introduced the Vice |President to the defence system reforms, further plans and our stances on Euro Atlantic integrations, as well as the global fight against terrorism.

The Vice President Biden emphasized that US support the defence system reforms realization due to achieve the highest standards. The Minister Sutanovac and the Vice President Biden agreed that the Serbian Armed Forces in cooperation with the USA and its allies can represent the key stability factor in the Balkans and they also discussed the importance of SAF’s future engagement in maintaining global peace.

In spite of differences on certain issues between two countries, it is necessary to establish better relations and higher level of military-economic cooperation, primarily through mutual educational projects, training and military modernization program as well as by promoting the excellent cooperation that Serbian Armed Forces already have with the National Guard of Ohio.

Minister Sutanovac expressed his gratitude to the Vice President Biden for the funds that US administration allocates to the members of the SAF education, and both of them agreed that there is a mutual interest to continue with the highest level contacts between Serbian and the USA representatives.
