Minister Vulin: I am not surprised by the call for a war by a non-convicted criminal, but I am worried that the international community is quiet about it
“I am very concerned by the Orić’s statement, and it is something to be expected from a non-convicted war criminal” stated Minister of defence Alesandar Vulin asked to comment on the latest statement of the war commander of the so called B&H Army that “the next war will happen a bit sooner than we waited for it”.
- You cannot expect from Naser Orić to speak about peace when he has not been punished for the crimes he committed in the war, and who believes that he is to finish the ethnic cleansing and killing of the Serbs, which is what he did and for what he has not been punished. One could expect that from him and that is not surprising, but I am very concerned with the fact that the international community is quiet about it. Which means that the man probably enjoys a great authority in the political circles of Bosnia and Herzegovina, speaks about a new war and no one reacts to that, not a single person from the international community uses its authority, which they otherwise use for far less serious matters, and no one says that there cannot be war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the man has to be eventually punished for everything that he did. That is what really concerns me – Minister Vulin stressed.
According to him, the Republic of Serbia and Serbian Armed Forces will do everything for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region to remain peaceful and stable.
- We primarily care that the Republic of Srpska, wherever the Serbs live, is thriving and living in peace and everyone else of course. We will do everything in our power to make this region peaceful and stable, but without the assistance and support of the international community, which has to restrain, constrain and punish such war criminals who call for new wars, I am not certain that it is possible – Minister Vulin sent a message.
