Minster Sutanovac laid the wreath at the Unknown hero monument on occasion of Victory day
Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac, on behalf of the President of Republic of Serbia Boris Tadic, laid the wreath today at the Unknown hero monument on Avala. Chief of SAF GS Lt. General Miloje Miletic and Air Force and Air Defence Commander Lt. General Dragan Katanic were also in delegation.On occasion of Victory day over fascism in the WWII, Minister Sutanovac wrote in the commemoration book, “On today’s day, the biggest suffering of 20th century was over. Let remember and celebrate heroes who brought the freedom and prosperity to all European citizens. For Serbia in Europe. For Serbia of happy and proud citizens. Long live Serbia!`
In the name of MoD and SAF, Deputy Chief of GS Lt. General Mladen Cirkovic laid the wreath at the Unknown hero monument on Avala. In the commemoration book was written “We will forever remember the victims of all known and unknown heroes fallen in the battles for good of mankind.”The representatives of diplomatic core in the Republic of Serbia were also laid the wreath on the Unknown hero monument on Avala.
