Exchange of experience with Belarus in the field of defence financing
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by State Secretary Bojan Jocić, started expert talks in the area of financial operations with representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, in the Budget and Finance Sector premises, yesterday.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus that is to stay in Serbia from 11th to 13th June 2018, is headed by Major General Igor Vladimirovich Mayilovsky, Assistant Minister for Economy and Finance.
State Secretary Jocić stressed that the the cooperation between the defence ministries of Serbia and Belarus, which begun in 2016, has been successfully continuing and positively developing in the field of defence financing to the mutual satisfaction. During the talks, State Secretary Jocić expressed his belief that cooperation would contribute to better development of mutual relations, as well as to a greater exchange of experience in the field of defence financing.Exchange of experience in the field of programme structure and budget, organisation of housing loan system, development of financial management and control system in MoD and SAF, as well as financing of the participation of SAF members in peacekeeping missions are topics to be discussed during the expert talks.
