6th retraining PRISMA cycle
Sixth retraining course of “Prisma” program was ceremoniously opened today at “New Belgrade” technical secondary school. In the upcoming period, seventy five attendants, with the help of skilled lecturers, will gain necessary knowledge which they will use during their civil career in as accountants, bus drivers, air conditioning repairmen and skilled workers for heating and plumbing installations.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defense, director of “PRISMA” resettlement program LTC Miodrag Bogojevi?, thanked the representatives of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, International Organization for Migrations, and school representatives for their whole hearted help in the realization of this course.“I wish to point out that Ministry of Defense has sent letter of notification to all the defense system members whose service ended last year, for using this Support Program Services as part of retraining the member of the Serbian Armed Forces. I am extremely happy that this year we have had a great response, and that 40 women have applied for the courses, mostly from TRZ “?a?ak” and VZ “Moma Stanojlovi?”.
Current users of the Program are very satisfied with the organization and the opportunities for professional improvement, as they have gained great experience during the service, which they can successfully use with every employer or in the starting of their own businesses. For attendant located outside Belgrade or Niš, we have ensured free accommodation and food in the civilian facilities, Lieutenant-Colonel Blagojevi? emphasized.
Director of the Head office for “PRISMA” resettlement program pointed out that the sixth retraining course which is being carried out in Belgrade and in Niš, and starting September this year in Novi Sad as well, will bring new modules of retraining.
Center for NCO training project is being carried out by the Head Office for Career Retraining “PRISMA”, with the Human Resources Sector of Ministry of Defense. The Project is funded by the Nordic initiative in cooperation with the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and other educational institutions.
