Zastava film - winner of the festival charter “Zlatna buklija”
Zastava Film Military Film Centre won the “Stefan Visoki” charter at the 13th International Documentary Film Festival “Zlatna buklija”, held in Velika Plana.
Zastava film received this high recognition of the festival for many years of successful cooperation with the festival and contribution to the development of Serbian cinematography and on the occasion of 70 years of work of this film institution of the Ministry of Defence.
The plaque was received by the Director, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Ikonić, who thanked the host on behalf of the members of the Zastava Film Military Film Centre and expressed his satisfaction with the long successful cooperation with the festival that has lasted for thirteen years.In the competition part, the film “The Age of the Serbian River Fleet” was awarded with the first prize for editing and picture design by Editor Dušan Milunović.
This year's festival comprised 317 films from 12 countries, including one African country - Kenya.The first prize of the festival was given to Sladjana Zarić for “Diana's children” film and the author's approach to important social topics.
Dušan Đoković, founder and director of the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, received the Life-Work Award.
