The Ministry of Defense calls on all judiciary bodies to call the retired Lt. Col. Lakic Djordjevic and all other persons and to talk with them regarding the headlines in the media which claim that MoD is in the possession of the transcript of the conversation of the NATO aircraft crew just before the bombardment of the Serbian National Broadcasting Company (RTS).

The Ministry of Defense, will as till now, deliver all documents regarding the aforesaid case to the judiciary organs and the whole public and will provide all the necessary support during the legal proceedings.

Once again we take this opportunity to remind you that in September 2007, all the documents regarding the disinformation that SAF was in the possession of the transcript, were then made available to the public.

By the decision of the Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac no 783-1/07 as of 12.09.2007 a seal of confidentiality was removed from these documents and they could be downloaded on the MoD’s website, which the majority of the media did then

We would also like to remind the public that the authorized services, after all the check-ups, delivered this information that SAF GS archives did not contain any transcripts of the conversation between NATO pilots with the base. Even the Public Information Commissioner Rodoljub Sabic was apprised of this information, as well as all NGOs and the families of the RTS employees who died in the bombardment.
