DAs in GSZ
DAs accredited in Serbia visited the Ground Safety Zone yesterday and 4th Brigade in Vranje and Dobrosin base in GSZ.
In Vranje barracks “1300 kaplara”, DAs were greeted By State Secretary Dusan Spaosjevic, who was visiting GSZ yesterday and Brigadier General Milosav Simovic.
During the visit, DAs were briefed by General Simovic and a demo exercise was carried out.
State Secretary Spasojevic estimated the security situation in Serbia as stable stressing that SAF, thanks to its high level of professionalism, was a guarantor of stability in this part of the region. Spasojevic remarked on the good cooperation between SAF and other security structures and civil authorities.
During the visit to the office for civil-military cooperation, DAs were given a presentation on the activities of the office, while the memorial room of 4th Brigade drew special attention from the DAs.
In the Command HQ in Nis, DAs were received by the Chief of HQ of the army Brigadier General Vojin Jondic who introduced them to the organization, missions and tasks of the SAF Army.
