New issue of ODBRANA

We expect to re-establish what our ancient military leaders called the sense of belonging to the unit. None of us are left to ourselves. Every soldier and officer must know that their collective and colleagues, as well as their superiors support them. Always, in war and in peace, Colonel Savo Iriškić, Chief of Human Resources Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces says for the 300th issue of Odbrana magazine.

Women, who statistically acquire college degrees more often, are struggling, even in the developed countries, with unequal representation at senior positions, lower percentage of employment and lower wages. On the occasion of 8th March, International Women's Day, in the article "Equal Players" we bring a story about the only woman in the defence system who completed General Staff course. - I have always been loud in the defence of women's rights, advocating the thesis that the criteria for promotion, training and appointments should be equal for all, and that every individual has responsibility to take advantage of the opportunity that comes their way - Colonel Mirjana Milenković says.
