Ambassador Olinik gives a lecture



The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia Anatoly Olinik held in the Peace Operations Center a lecture titled ” The relations of Ukraine and nATO and its position towards energy safety ”

The lecture, organized by the Institute for Strategic Research of the Defense Policy Sector, was opened by the director of the Institute Colonel Milan Zaric, MSc.


The Ukrainian Ambassador spoke of to-date cooperation between Ukraine and NATO, the stages this cooperation underwent. He stressed that Ukraine saw NATO as a foundation of the future security system and supports its enlargement. This is why this country is trying to establish good relation with neighbouring countries as well as with other states. Ambassador Olinik presented this year’s Ukraine-NATO objectives plan, which is the basis of Ukraine’s relations with the alliance.

Ambassador Olinik also laid out Ukraine’s energy plan-the projected goals and the ways of achieving them. He also spoke of Ukraine’s gas sector, which largely depends on imported gas.
