Telegram of Condolences to the Minister of National Defence of Turkey
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of National Defence Nurettin Canikli following the death of pilots in the province of Izmir.
The telegram reads:
“Dear Minister, esteemed colleague, The news about the death of military pilots during the training flight in the province of Izmir once again reminded me of all the complexity, challenges and risks entailed by military profession, both in war actions and in peace.
It is very difficult to find the words which would express sorrow and sadness over the loss of the two lives. On behalf of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and me personally, I extend my heartfelt sympathies and condolences for today’s tragic event.
Our thoughts go to the families of the perished pilots and we hope that they will find solace in the notion that their beloved ones carried out one of the most honourable and noblest professions.”
