Meeting of the Chief of General Staff and KFOR Commander

Today, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubiša Diković met KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore Cuoci in the barracks “Banjica 2” in Belgrade.

Generals Diković and Cuoci talked about the current security situation in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija and astride the administrative line with our southern province, and about the realisation of joint activities of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR.

This has been the first meeting of the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR Commander since November last year when General Cuoci took over the command over the international forces in Kosovo and Metohija.

The meetings of the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces with KFOR Commander are held regularly. These are high level meetings of the Joint Committee for the Implementation of the Military Technical Agreement, which consists of KFOR Committee and the Committee of the representatives of security forces of the Republic of Serbia. The meetings of the Joint Committee have been regularly held at different levels since 1999, for the purpose of implementation of the Military Technical Agreement.
