Telegram of condolence to the US Secretary of Defence
On the occasion of the death of members of the United States Navy, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolence to the United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis. The telegram says:
“I was deeply shaken by the news of the accident and death of members of the United States Navy in an air accident over the Philippine Sea during transport operation to the USS Ronald Regan aircraft carrier.
On behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Armed Forces, I take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt condolences.
All members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces sincerely stand together with you in sharing your pain on the occasion of the loss of lives of the US Navy members.”
