NORA B-52 - pride of the Serbian defence industry



Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, and the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, who are on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, attended, together with their hosts, testing of Nora B-52 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, on the artillery field, today. It was an opportunity to present one of the best products and innovations of the Serbian defence industry, in practical effect and in the best light, to the partners in the UAE, and after completion of the test, Minister Vulin stated that Yugoimport SDPR has all the reasons to be very proud and satisfied, considering how this most important production project, 155 mm Nora B-52, showed before the hosts from the UAE.
 
- In all segments that have been experienced today, it has demonstrated exceptional features when it comes both to its range and the precision, its movement and maneuverability, the speed of the reaction. All parameters have shown that Nora is one of the most outstanding products and that, therefore, we have reason to expect that we will have significant success both on the world market and on the UAE market, the Minister of Defence said and emphasized that he believes that the hosts were very satisfied and that we can hope for a successful continuation of further testing.

NORA-B52 M15 is a self-propelled gun-howitzer intended for the fire support of its units, which it achieves with strong, sudden and fast fire at long distance targets and is considered one of the most successful products of the Serbian defence industry.
 
During the two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he was greeted with the highest honours, Minister Vulin met with Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi Al Falasi in Abu Dhabi yesterday, Chief of the General Staff of the UAE, Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithi, and Major General Saleh Mohamed Saleh Al Ameri, Commander of the Land Forces.
