Military medical training for members of the Iraqi Armed Forces

At the Ministry of Defence, today, an initial meeting was held on the harmonisation of details of the military medical training of members of the Iraqi Armed Forces in the Republic of Serbia, under the auspices of the NATO Defence and Related Security Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade, and the delegations of Germany and the Kingdom of Belgium. The delegation of the Ministry and the Serbian Armed Forces included representatives of the Military Health Department, the Department for International Military Cooperation and the Training Command of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The Republic of Serbia, as a partner country, offered training to the Iraqi forces through this initiative during the visit of the then Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić to NATO Headquarters in November last year when he met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
