Defence Cooperation with Denmark



In the framework of marking the 100th anniversary from the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Denmark, the representative of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark, Colonel Kurt Refsgard visited the Ministry of Defence where he met with the State Secretary Nenad Nerić.

The State Secretary Nerić expressed gratitude for the continuous expert and financial assistance of the Kingdom of Denmark rendered in the framework of defence system reform. He emphasised that Denmark is one of key donors of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces. Nerić added the Ministry of Defence is directed towards further intensification of the cooperation with the Kingdom of Denmark in the period to come as well. 

During the talks, Colonel Refsgard expressed his satisfaction with the activities conducted until that moment in the field of defence. He stressed that Denmark, apart from the termination of the projects based approach to bilateral cooperation, remained interested in further cooperation with Serbia and also through the cooperation with the countries of the region.
