Meeting of Serbian and Hungarian Chiefs of General Staff



The Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic has met today in Hajdukovo the Hungarian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Tibor Benko.
It is the meeting with the aim to improve bilateral military cooperation, during which General Dikovic and Benko talked about the current security situation in the region, security threats caused by the migrant crisis, as well as the possibilities for the enhancement of collaboration between two armies. A special emphasis was paid on the joint participation in the UN multinational operation on Cyprus, joint exercises carried out by two armies, both bilateral ones which are traditionally conducted and other international ones in which we take part together.
Two generals agreed that the military-military cooperation between two armies is intensive and comprehensive characterized by constant quantitative and qualitative improvement, which is seen in the initiation of cooperation in new spheres.
