Minister Đorđević at the Annual Analysis of the MMA Work



The Minister of Defence, Mr Zoran Đorđević, attended the regular annual analysis of the functional capability of the Military Medical Academy for the year 2016.
 

The Acting Head of the Military Medical Academy, Colonel Miroslav Vukosavljević Prof, Dr expressed his expectations that 2017 would be a year of stabilisation, renewal and reforms in the MMA during which the piled up problems of everyday operation would be more easily resolved. As the most pronounced problems, he singled out the medicines and medical material supplying, the lack of personnel, particularly nurses and medical technicians, as well as the necessity of infrastructural renovation and technological equipping. At the same time, he thanked Deputy Head of the MMA, Colonel Dragan Dinčić Prof Dr, who with his team had enabled unhindered functioning of the institution during the previous year.
 
Speaking about the plans for 2017, Colonel Vukosavljević announced good news referring to additional resources for the procurement of medicines and medical material provided by the Ministry of Defence, as well as the additional resources for the reconstruction and infrastructure. He expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the State Fund for Health Insurance with which an agreement had already been signed for that year, through which the MMA would enable a stable process of medical supplying on the basis of so called framework agreements.
 
Apart from the Minister of Defence, the Annual Analysis of the MMA was attended by the Assistant Minister of Defence for Budget and Finances, Ms Radmila Jagodić, Head of the Private Office of the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Siniša Radović, Deputy Head of the Military Health Department, Colonel Uglješa Jovičić Dr, Head of Logistics Department (J-4), Brigadier General Željko Ninković, Director of SOVO Fund, Mr Dragiša Dabetić and by other representatives of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.
