A rehearsal held before the concert of military bands of Serbia and Great Britain
Rehearsals before tonight's joint concert of Stanislav Binički Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence and the Band of The Prince of Wales's Division was held today at the Central Military Club.
The rehearsal was attended by a delegation of the United Kingdom led by General Sir Gordon Messenger, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, who is on his several-day visit to Serbia. General Messenger welcomed the musicians expressing his satisfaction with the cultural cooperation since "reading notes is a common language for all".
- If you sound like that at a rehearsal, then you will sound great at the concert, General Messenger said.
The concert, which is to be held tonight at 8 pm, at the Central Military Club, will perform popular works of film and art music by Serbian, British and international authors.
By this concert, "Binički" ensemble continues the tradition of joint concerts with the orchestras of the armed forces of many countries. The ensemble has previously performed with orchestras from Russia, the USA, Macedonia, Switzerland and Greece.
