Anniversary of death of military leaders marked
Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic has laid wreaths today at New cemetery on graves of Field Marshal Zivojin Misic and Petar Bojovic and Army General Pavle Jurisic Sturm within the state ceremony on the occasion of marking anniversary of deaths of WWI heroes.
On the occasion of marking anniversary of deaths, wreaths were laid by Milan Popovic, Assistant Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Andreja Mladenovic, as well as the Association for cherishing the tradition of Serbia’s liberation wars until 1918, the Association of the descendants of Serbian warriors from 1912 to 1920 and other associations.
Field Marshal Zivojin Misic died on 20th January 1921 in Belgrade, Field Marshal Petar Bojovic died on 19th January 1945 in Belgrade whereas Army General Pavle Jurisic Sturm died on 14th January 1922 in Belgrade.
