Defence Minister met Belarus Ambassador



Састанак министра одбране са амбасадором БелорусијеDefence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has met today the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Belgrade Vladimir Cusev.
 
Minister Djordjevic and Ambassador Cusev concluded that the high level of defence cooperation had been reached, which reflects the excellent general and political relations of two countries.
  
At the meeting, they discussed the successful conduct of the recent exercise “Slavic Brotherhood 2016”, when the Belarus Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Major General Oleg Alekseevich Belokonev visited Serbia.
 
Besides the talks about possibilities of further enhancement of such aspect of military cooperation, the manners of the development of other mutually useful aspects of defence cooperation were discussed at the meeting. Thus Minister Djordjevic and Ambassador Cusev stressed the importance of planned intensifying of military-economic and scientific-technical cooperation of two Ministries of Defence and two armies in the following period.
