49th World Military Championship in orienteering completed



Завршено 49. светско војно првенство у оријентирингуThe team of the Serbian Armed Forces that took part in the 49th World Military Championship in orienteering, held from 18th to 23rd November in the Brazilian city of Rio das Ostras, has achieved considerable success taking 12th place in the medium and 14th place on long distances, among total of 26 teams that participated in the competition.
 
Taking the 12th and 14th place, the team composed of Major Milovan Milic and captains Sinisa Savic, Dejan Popovic, Zeljko Coric, Slobodan Ivkovic and Sasa Vojnovic achieved best performance since 2004, since when the military orienteers have competed on world military championships.
