Team of the Serbian Armed Forces on the 49th World Military Orienteering Championship



The team of the Serbian Armed Forces has set off for Brazil, 49th World Military Orienteering Championship, today.
 
The competition is held in Rio das Ostras. Before leaving for the competition, the team of the Serbian Armed Forces was received by Brigadier General Sinisa Radovic, Chief of the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to CISM. He wished the team good performance in the competition, and to represent the Armed Forces and Serbia with dignity.
 
Technical leader and competitor, Major Milovan Milic, thanked for the shown trust and promised that all competitors would give their best and represent their country decently. He stressed that it was honour to be part of this team.
 
The competition, which is to be held from 18th to 23rd November 2016, brings together 25 teams from around the world who will participate in team and individual competitions on the long, middle distance and relay.
 
Departure of the Serbian Armed Forces orienteering team was also supported by the. Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
