Minister of Defence extends greetings on the Day of Engineer Branch



I extend to all members of the Engineer branch my best wishes as they celebrate 6th November – the Day of the branch.
 
Continuing the tradition of the builders from the Engineer branch, century and a half long, when the Principality of Serbia adopted the Law on Amending the Law on organisation of the armed forces of 1864, by which the pontoneers and pioneers were separated from the artillery and a separate branch was created – the Engineer branch. Thanks to your professionalism, competence and responsibility, you managed to carry out your the functional responsibilities, and accomplishing the set tasks to contribute to the construction and improvement of operational capabilities.
 
I congratulate you on your holiday, wishing you that your previous success be an incentive for all the future ones, and being confident that you will continue to contribute to the development of the engineer branch and the Army as a whole in the period to come.
