Analysis of MMA's capabilities
The conference dedicated to the functionality of the Military Medical Academy’s capabilities for 2008 was held today at the Academy. The analysis, attended by the representatives of the MMA organizational units and Heads of the corresponding organizational units of MoD, was opened by the Head of the Military Medical Academy Miodrag Jevtic, PhD.
-I expect from this conference to view objectively, and critically all that was achieved last year, if we have achieved everything planned, and what our main goal will be in the next period”, said professor Jevtic.He stressed that the analysis should give an overview that is the influence and development of functional capabilities of MMA and its overall evaluation, to stress all the important problems, and to suggest measures in the MMA’s jurisdiction and the Sector for Material Resources which should in the upcoming period give their contribution to improving the work of MMA.
Speaking about the focal activities in the upcoming period, Deouty Head of MMA Colonel Nikola Filipovic, PhD stressed that these included the realization of specific tasks and promoting the quality of work as well as securing larger incomes and the technological modernization. Alos MMA will be engaged on providing healthcare to the participants of the University Olympics 2009 , while another task is the implementation of ISO standards. In the upcoming period the accent is on continuing of integration into the healthcare system of Serbia, and improving the material status of the employees in MMA and strengthening of MMA’s international position.
