COMMUNIQUE

By the order of the Minister of Defense there has been a reorganization of a part of military territorial organs in the jurisdiction of Belgrade military office as follows:

- a Belgrade military office has been formed with HQ in Belgrade (at Banjica), nn Raska Street, which took over the jurisdictions of the Belgrade 1 and Belgrade 2 offices (municipalities: Vozdovac, Vracar, Stari Grad, Mladenovac, Sopot, Savski Venac, ZVezdara, Grocka, Lazarevac, Zemun, Surcin, Cukarica, Barajevo, Palilula, Novi Beograd, Rakovica and Obrenovac) and

- Valjevo military office, with HQ in Valjevo, 10 Major Ilic Street, which took over the duties of former Valjevo and Sabac (municipalities: Sabac, BOgatic, Vladimirci, Koceljeva, Loznica, Krupanj, Mali Zvornik, Valjevo, Osecina, Ljubovija, Lajkovac, Ljig, Mionica, and Ub)

Due to the reorganization of military territorial organs in the jurisdiction of Belgrade military office, there is a possibility that the requests filed by those obliged by the military duty would not be resolved in the period defined by the law of 30 to 60 days.

The newly formed military offices have a wide-extending municipality duties, which makes the performance of duties a complex task, even in solving the demands of those obliged to serve in the army.

We ask the citizens to be patient and understanding as the Ministry of Defense will do its utmost to finalize the process of reorganization as soon as possible.
