Diplomas awarded to the cadets of the final year of the Military Academy

Head of the Military Academy, Major General Prof. Mladen Vuruna, PhD presented today diplomas to graduate cadets of the Military Academy’s 135th class, while the aviation cadets were awarded the flying insignia by Air force and Air Defence Commander Major General Ranko Zivak.

Best ranked cadets of the 135th class of the Military Academy are Aleksandar Borovcanin, with the average grade of 9,84, Defence Management Studies, Infantry Module; Viktor Dzaser Milenkovic (9,80), Military Air Force Studies and Milica Radojkovic (9,70), Defence Logistics Studies, Financing Module.

Best cadet in the Army is Stefan Slavkovic with an average of 9,63, Defence Logistics Studies, Financing Module, and in the Air Force and Air Defence the best cadet is Milos Milosevic, an average of 9,00, Military Air Force Studies, Plane Pilot.

Rector of the Defence University Lieutenant General Prof. Miodrag Jevtic, PhD handed over awards to the most successful cadets in their studies, and Deputy Dean of the Military Academy Colonel Prof. Boban Djorovic, PhD handed over awards for best theses.

The award of “Second Lieutenant Borko Nikitovic” Fondation was awarded to the best ranked cadet of the Military Academy by Zora Nikitovic, mother of the killed Second Lieutenant of the YNA Borko Nikitovic.

Cadets of the 135th class, 220 of them, and one who completed his education in Greece, have an average grade of 8,11. They have passed all the contents of military training and acquired necessary competencies for conducting basic duties in their arm of service.

The four-year education is realized at the accredited study programs in the field of social humanistic, technical technological, and natural mathematical sciences and is adjusted to highest standards of higher education.

Cadets that have been pronounced Defence Managers or Engineers today will attend tomorrow’s ceremony in front of the House of the National Assembly and stand in line of the Armed Forces of Serbia as the youngest officers.
