Military cooperation with Algieria
Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic of the technical government held talks with the co-chairman of the Algerian part of the Joint Commission for Cooperation in the Field of Defence Major General Abdelhamid Griss.Traditionally friendly relations between states and peoples have deepened the establishment and improvement of strategic cooperation in defense, with a good base to cooperation to the economic sectors of common interest .
Although military economic cooperation and military educational cooperation are at this point a focal area both sides expressed interest to cooperate in the scientific-technical and military medical field .
Education and Training of the Ministry of National Defense Algeria in Serbia will provide a long term connection to the National People's Army of Algeria and positive impact on the already established connections, agreed interlocutors .
They expressed gratitude for the principled support of Algeria to Serbia’s legitimate efforts to preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo and Metohija .
