Minister Stefanović visits exhibition “War Image of Serbia in Second World War, 1941-1945“ in Central Military Club



Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited the exhibition “War Image of Serbia in the Second World War, 1941-1945“ in the Central Military Club’s gallery in Belgrade, which is part of this year’s museum event “Top-Notch Museums” (Muzeji za 10).
Pointing out some of the most important events in Serbia’s fight for liberation in the Second World War, Marijana Mraović, PhD, from the Military Archive, presented the exhibition in the Central Military Club’s Great and Small Galleries to Minister Stefanović.  

Vuk Obradović, the Military Museum’s curator, spoke about the museological exhibition, while the artistic aspects of the exhibition were presented by Jelena Knežević, senior curator and Head of the Central Military Club’s Gallery.

More than 500 visitors have seen this exhibition in the Central Military Club’s gallery, as part of the museum event held from 9 to 15 November, taking all measures to prevent Covid-19.

The exhibition was mounted on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of victory over fascism in the Second World War, by a group of authors from the Historical Archive of Požarevac, the Military Archive, the Military Museum and the Media Centre “Odbrana”.
