Momir Bulatović buried




Former president of Montenegro and prime minister of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Momir Bulatović was buried in the village of Rača near Kuči, not far from Podgorica. The delegation of the Republic of Serbia was led by minister of defence, Aleksandar Vulin, who laid wreaths on behalf of the president of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Government.
 
Funeral service was served by Amfilohije Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.
 
Previously, Minister Vulin, on behalf of president of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Government, expressed condolences to Momir Bulatović’s family at the Čepurci cemetery in Podgorica. The minister of defence expressed condolences to all citizens of Montenegro as well, but also to his Serbian people, because the death of Momir Bulatović is a huge loss for the Serbian people.
 
The delegation of the Republic of Serbia included also Major General Želimir Glišović, chief of the General Staff Operations Department.
 
Momir Bulatović was the first president of the Republic of Montenegro who was elected in the multiparty elections and the president of the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He was a founder of Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Socialist People’s Party (SNP) and People’s Socialist Party (NSS).
