Minister Vulin: Only stable and secure Serbia can take care of members of the security services
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin and General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, have handed out today the keys to 20 apartments to active and retired members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, in the Great War Hall of the Old General Staff building.
After delivering the keys, Minister Vulin pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces is taking care of its personnel.- Anyone who tied their fate to the security system and the Serbian Armed Forces can be sure that they will be taken care of both when they are in active service and when they retire. The military takes care of its own personnel, from the day you enter the army, as long as you exist, the Armed Forces will find ways to take care of you – the minister of defence said.
According to his words, in order for the Armed Forces to be able to take care of its own personnel, strong, stable, safe Serbia is what is needed.
- Only politically stable, peaceful and safe Serbia can take care of all members of the security services, it can take care of its own Armed Forces, equipment, arms, it can improve the quality of life of all members of the Serbian Armed Forces, and in this way keeps our peace, the way of life and our freedom. Political stability is the prerequisite for any other success – Minister Vulin said.
Today, Colonel Miroslav Terzić, employed at the University of Defence, solved his housing issue, and his new address will now be in New Belgrade-based Yuri Gagarin Street.- I am satisfied with the apartment, it is solidly built, and I have been waiting on it for 22 years. In the apartment, I will live with my wife and a son – Colonel Terzić says adding that he is very satisfied also with the fact that the apartment is on a good location.
The keys to the apartment today were also handed out to a civilian Gordana Bajić, employed in the Belgrade Regional Centre of the Ministry of Defence, who had been waiting on the apartment for more than three decades.
- I got a studio in Cara Dušana Street in Zemun and I am happy. I will live there with my daughter, Gordana Bajić says.
