Steps to strengthening military-technical cooperation with Belarus
In the continuation of his two-day visit to Belarus, the Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic met the Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus Sergei Petrovich Gurulev. Djordjevic and Gurulev talked about the further enhancement of military-technical and military-economic cooperation of two countries.
Minister Djordjevic stressed that one of the ideas is the establishment of the joint commission for military-technical cooperation between Serbia and Belarus, whose work would be focused on strengthening the relations of defence industries of two countries.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian defence industry visited yesterday “The Overhaul Institute for Radio Electronic Armament 2566” in Barysaw in order to consider the capacities and possibilities for collaboration. The abovementioned Institute is a joint-stock company owned by the Belarusian Government with 68-years-long tradition in general overhaul of all types of Air Defence systems in the armament of the former Soviet Union and the Belarusian Armed Forces now.
