Minister Rodic at "Iron Cat" exercise



The participants of the joint tactical live shooting exercise " Iron Cat 2013 " in an artillery training ground " Titel " on the Tisa River today were visited by the Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic who watched the live shooting of 20 mm missiles from river minesweepers .

1st River Detachment of the River Flotilla of the Serbian Army and the 1st Demining Regiment of the Armed Forces Hungary took part in the exercise. The exercise which has been conducted for three years consecutively in Serbia and Hungary alternately is shooting from ships..

Two days of shooting was preceded by a theoretical and practical preparation for the next exercise while the next exercise is to expand content by including shooting activities in air space, the demining of waterways and search and rescue operations using boats and diving units.
