Minister Stefanović meets with Austrian Ambassador Lutterotti



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Belgrade, Mr Nikolaus Lutterotti.

Minister Stefanović emphasized the role and importance of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria, which are constantly intensifying and developing, as well as continuous high-level meetings.
Minister of Defence noted that it was important for Serbia to maintain and cultivate good relations with foreign partners, especially with other neutral countries.
He thanked Austria for contributing the largest number of military personnel to KFOR of all Partnership for Peace member countries.

Ambassador Lutterotti congratulated Minister Stefanović on his appointment as Minister of Defence and wished him success in his future endeavours. He estimated that the cooperation in the field of defence between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria is at a high level and expressed confidence that it would continue to strengthen in the coming period, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
