Minister Vulin: Owing to the Supreme Commander soldiers will be in a better financial position
- I will be satisfied when our armed forces become even stronger, even more equipped, better trained, and of course, when the standard of members of the military gets even higher - said Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin appearing in the first TV Journal of the Radio-Television of Serbia.
He underlined that President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić talked to soldiers, presented concrete solutions for increasing basic soldiers’ salary, and for ensuring that those with the lowest salaries receive higher emoluments and for strengthening their financial status.
- Salary increase depends on the gross domestic product, and on how high our deficit and surplus are going to be. Hence, it depends on the state of the public finance, and it is certain that we enjoy the support of our Supreme Commander, and that owing to his support, as much as the state can spare, it will be allocated to the armed forces - the minister of defence concluded.
