Minister Vulin: We deal with liars

- I am highly concerned with the state of health protection in the territory of northern Kosovo and Metohija having in mind that due to planned activities of Shiptar leadership, trade of medicines and possibility of our doctors to come and provide medical assistance is banned. Sadly enough, it has been proved once again that the government in Priština simply lies – they said that the officials were not banned from coming, and as you can see it is forbidden and not only for the officials, but for doctors as well, the people who should only deal with humanitarian work and help someone – Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin stated when asked to comment on the ban to a delegation of military doctors on entering Kosovo and Metohija and also to comment on the statement of Milan Ivanović that the ban jeopardises the life of patients in the Clinical and Hospital Centre in Kosovska Mitrovica.

- When our doctors come to Kosovska Mitrovica and Gračanica, they treat humans, they do not treat Serbs or Shiptars, and yesterday, they were forbidden to enter the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. The hypocritical statements that the ban was issued solely to the minister of defence, and not all the others, has been, unfortunately, proved to be a brutal lie, since – all right, you have forbidden me to enter, then allow the military doctors to enter the Clinical Centre in Kosovska Mitrovica, allow them to come to Gračanica, enable them to treat people. Sadly, we deal with liars who even invalidated their own signatures, who openly say that they will not implement the Brussels agreement – Minister Vulin stressed.

He expressed his hope that the international community would “at least now feel the need to punish them and simply make them honour the agreement” and allow at least our doctors to treat people and do their job and assist the others.”

- …Or is it only possible in case of the Serbs that no one should medically treat them, nor they should be given medicines, or food? If that is the case, we should carefully reconsider whether we belong to that international community – Minister Vulin concluded.
