Belarusian Defence Minister Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov visits ‘Defence 78’ exhibition




 
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Andrei Ravkov, accompanied by Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, has visited today the ‘Defence 78’ exhibition, which was organised by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces at the Museum of the City of Belgrade to mark the 20th anniversary of the defending of the fatherland from the NATO aggression.
 
During the visit to the interactive, multimedia exhibition setting, Minister Vulin explained his Belarusian counterpart the concept of the exhibition made up of eight thematically different units testifying to the events in the the FR Yugoslavia that preceded the NATO aggression and during the aggression.
 
The plethora of printed, audio and video materials, as well as original exhibits, have clearly captured the attention of General Ravkov, who wrote down in the book of impressions the following desire: “I wish you a peaceful sky, Serbia, from the bottom of my heart.”
 
The ‘Defence 78’ exhibition by Dušan Jovović is a unique guide to the interpretation of the NATO aggression against the FR Yugoslavia. It was realised with the support of the Military Museum and the Museum of Aeronautics, and the valuable contribution was provided by the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
