“Forest for victims in NATO aggression 1999” campaign
“Forest for victims in NATO aggression 1999” campaign – raising a forest by planting 2,500 seedlings, was organised today in the Beograd forest estate at the Lipovica site, in memory of all those who lost their lives during the 78 days of NATO aggression.
About a hundred members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces participated in this symbolic campaign. The organisers of the campaign are PE Srbijašume and the Ministry of Defence.
The “Forest for victims in NATO aggression 1999” campaign was organized to mark 24th March, the day when NATO aggression on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia began, two decades ago.
